Ingredients:
1lb ground turkey
1 cup water
1 onion
2 cloves chopped garlic
1 can chopped olives
1 can black beans
1 can corn
1 can mushrooms (sliced)
3 sliced carrots
4 stalks (sliced) celery
½ t. cayenne
1-2 t. cumin
Salt & pepper to taste
Garlic salt to taste
Directions:
Put turkey in a sauce pan with water, and cook. (do not drain) Add all of the other ingredients (do not drain the canned vegetables). Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 10-20 minutes.
Rebecca's note: I might drain the black beans because the juice turned the broth purple. I added a little chicken broth in its place.
Serve with salad, bread, crackers or tortilla chips. You can add a bit of cheese on top when you serve.
